On Thursday, April 25, the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, Division of Oil and Public Safety, issued proposed amusement ride and device rulemaking that, among other things, would:

  1. Add language for the certification of third party inspectors, add variance language, improve current language regarding trampoline parks.
  2. Add requirements for the operation of free-fall devices; Create a structure which applies specific credentials to the third party inspector certification process.
