The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act
Contact the U.S. Senate Today to Protect the Health of the Attractions Industry!
The U.S. Senate is taking the lead on a third relief package that could greatly impact the U.S. Attractions Industry.
Amusement parks and attractions are currently closed at government direction in what is typically the start of the busiest season of the year. As each day passes, with no end in sight as to when the restrictions on travel and gathering will be removed, the attractions industry is increasingly unable to support its employees.
It is imperative that you contact your U.S. Senator immediately and request that they support the following relief efforts:
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act needs to include:
- A $250 billion Travel Workforce Stabilization Fund within the Department of Treasury for travel related industries, including:
- $150 billion in direct grants, and
- $100 billion in unsecured, no-interest loans
Combined with measures already in the bill, these provisions are essential to mitigate the damage caused by shutdowns and ensure that the attractions industry and other related travel-dependent businesses can maintain employment.
