Senate Bill 263, an act relating to inflatable rides and devices, was signed into law on Friday, March 29 by Arkansas Governor, Asa Hutchinson.

SB263 amends the Amusement Ride and Amusement Attraction Safety Insurance Act, requiring that inflatable attractions, self-contained mobile playgrounds, artificial climbing walls and other rider-propelled amusement rides or devices be inspected on an annual basis.

SB263 also removes the requirement that the annual inspections must be completed by the insurance company insuring the inflatable attraction, yet still retains the provision requiring all owners/operators to carry general liability insurance in at least the minimum amount required by state law.
